Speaking at the floor of the National Assembly, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that action will be taken against those involved in levelling baseless allegations of involvement of thirty-seven members of the Parliament with banned outfits and terrorists. He said that a private TV channel alleged that Prime Minister House was involved in preparing the report that was denied very next morning by Intelligence Bureau that no such report was issued by the Bureau. He said Intelligence Bureau also described the report as forged and lodged an FIR in this regard. He said PEMRA was also directed to take action according to the law. He said the issue was also raised in the Cabinet meeting and it was clarified that Prime Minister House was not involved in any such action. Speaking on a calling attention notice in the house, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that petroleum prices are lowest in Pakistan in the petroleum importing countries in the world. He said that fuel prices are fixed every month according to the prices in the International Market. He said during the last one year the government has absorbed the impact of the increased petroleum prices and less increase has been made in the prices in the country.  –Courtesy Radio Pakistan
